The BBT 1500 series is built primarily for coarse woodchips (G 100). This machine is supplied on a standard three-axle semi-trailer. The BBT 1500 is characterized by above-average hacking performance due to its robust and very simple design. Our own specially developed rotor system allows G 40 to G 100 chips to be produced, with the dust particles content below 10%. The robust high quality steel structure of this machine makes it suitable for continuous use under extreme and difficult conditions. After having been welded the highly stressed steel machine parts such as pulleys and chipping drum are normalized through final annealing in order to avoid residual stresses.
This machine can also be run as a stationary unit powered by electric motors.
